Artist Bio: Jubbi DonShemona Prince, professionally known as Jubbi Don, is a Jamaican-born artist raised in Canada. Born in 1997, Jubbi spIfent her early years in Jamaica before migrating to Canada, where she identifies as Ja-Cadian. Growing up in a vibrant household as one of 12 siblings, she developed a strong drive to succeed in music, not only to fulfill her dreams but to uplift and inspire her family.
Music has always been more than entertainment for Jubbi—it became an escape and a creative outlet. Writing, singing, and DJing allowed her to express herself and connect with her surroundings. She draws inspiration from a family deeply rooted in music, including her DJ uncle and her father, who shared a passion for singing. These influences sparked her journey as an artist.
Jubbi Don has graced numerous stages, including Toronto showcases such as “Love in the 6ix” and “Hold A Vibes.” Her talent has earned her opportunities to open for international stars like Skeng during the “Skeng Invasion” show in Edmonton, as well as Jamaica’s dancehall queen Spice. She has also performed at Jamfest in Jamaica and collaborated with dancehall artist Pamputtae for the “Boss Of Me” music video.
In addition to her solo projects, Jubbi has worked with DJ Lethal Vybz (Troy Valentine Sterread) on tracks like “Light in Dark” and “War.” Her commitment to her craft and relentless work ethic continue to propel her toward her goal of becoming an international Dancehall/Reggae sensation.
With her determination, talent, and unwavering connection to her roots, Jubbi Don is on a mission to make her family, fans, and homeland proud. She is poised to leave an indelible mark on the music industry as a rising star.

A natural songwriter since her elementary school days, Jubbi made her official debut in 2022 with the release of her singles “Know Mi Worth” and “Rate Mi,” both accompanied by music videos. Her stage name, initially “Lil Jubbi,” evolved to reflect her growth and ambition, becoming the commanding Jubbi Don.
